What are the approved uses?
Neurotoxins such as Botox, Xeomin, and Dysport are a prescription medicine injected into muscles and temporarily improve fine lines and wrinkles in adults.

When will I see the results?
Best results appear in two weeks.
How long does it last?
The results of tox can last up to 3-4 months. It will gradually start wearing off after one month.
Do I need to keep up with it?
Botox targets the underlying cause of your lines/wrinkles from frowning and squinting over the years, reducing muscle activity for visible smooth lines. For preventative measures, we recommend you to get Botox treatments at least twice a year. Some people get Botox injections on occasion for special events/ photoshoots/etc. (Remember Botox/Dysport/Xeomin takes up to 2 weeks to show effects) Touch-ups can be done if needed after two weeks.
We don’t recommend getting Botox or filler right before a special event for the first time. Start a year out so we can get your perfect look by the time you have your big day

What is the aftercare like?
No laying down, putting pressure on injection sites, or wearing make-up for 4 hours after injections.
No exercising or any activities that increase body heat for 24 hours.
You should wear sunscreen daily to protect your investment.
Facials and other cosmetic procedures can be done after two weeks.
What age is appropriate to start Botox?
The newest studies say the mid-20s is an appropriate age to start Botox to prevent wrinkles from causing permanent creases from aging and expression over the years. It’s easier to control than to correct.
How do appointments go?
Appointments usually take about 30-60 minutes. You’ll complete the first appointment a medical/physical history form before treatment looking for any contraindications. Botox requires a series of small pokes with 29-31g needles (small). Most clients say it is very tolerable and just a mild pinch. Topical numbing cream will be available.
Who isn't a candidate for Botox/Dysport/Xeomin?
You shouldn’t get Botox/Dysport/Xeomin if you have a severe infection and are treated with an antibiotic.
If you have a history of cold sores or herpes, you should be treated with an anti-viral by your primary care doctor before and after being injected, as injections could cause flare-ups.
Botox can’t be administered while pregnant.
Must be 21 years or older.
Are there side effects?
The common side effects include pain, swelling, bleeding, bruising for up to two weeks.
